    Before sampling you should understand what the objectives are.
    The first issue is where to sample and remember air pathways will take contamination from the source to possibly far away places
    The next issue is what do you want to sample for? Bacteria, endotoxins , mould spores or fragments, VOCs?

    You could get artificially high or low counts and a low result may be a greater health risk and than a wrong high count. Of course this now opens the question what is high or low?
    One of the worst DIY sampling protocols is the swab which provides no useful information and according to WHO has serious limitations
