Hi, we have moved to a new place after our over home was damaged by sewage water. We have looked around and in the kitchen units at the back – there is a speckling pattern. This is also present in the bathroom. Now, there is no fuzzy growth / nothing i can wipe off and im having no symptoms (I have CIRS) so it tells me it’s not mold? It’s lamented wood which isnt bowed, damp and not touching any exterior wall. It’s not humid either. Has me worried but wondering if im just over thinking. I could get a ERMI etc but there doesnt seem to be dust or protrusion on the wood so not sure if it’s worth it?
Any thoughts welcome
